Preferences

Preferences Dialog allow you to define your own preferences. It has four pages: System, Appearance, Custom Unit and Hot Key.


System Page

System page allow you to define some system preferences
1.Use arrow keys to move 1 pixels
Change this value can alter ruler's moving rate when you press the arrow keys.

2.Cross Hair Size
Change cross hair's size. Big cross hair can comminute the whole screen, but small cross hair can only comminute small region of screen.

3.Cross Hair Direction
Vertical with Ruler: the cross hair's border will vertical with ruler. If ruler is rotated, the cross hair's border will rotated,too. 

Vertical with Screen: the cross hair's border will vertical with screen. If ruler rotated, the cross hair's border will not rotated.

4.Transparency Setting
Drop the TrackBar to modify the transparency. The transparency value is more large, the ruler is more transparent.

5.Jump to cursor when show
If the checkbox is selected, the ruler will jump to cursor position when it show.

6.Scale
Setup value for your scale. It is used when you use "show scale line".

7. Adjust ruler's width
Input the width, click 'OK' button to apply. Note: the new width will be applied in the next time. You can close the ruler and run it again to use it with new width.

8."OK" Button
Click "OK" Button to apply your modification.

9."Cancel" Button
Click "Cancel" Button to cancel your modification.

Appearance Page

Appearance page allow you to difine the ruler's color.
1.Scale Color
Click it can select a new color for the scale.

2.Background Color
Click it can select a new color for clever ruler's background.

3.Value Color
Click it can select a new color for the value.

4.Cross Hair Color
Click it can select a new color for cross hair.

5.Current Station Color
Click it can select a new color for current station text.

6.Scale Line
Click it can select a new color for scale line.

7.Display Form For Cursor Station
Value Color:  
Click it can select a new color for display form value.
Background:  
Click it can select a new color for display form background.
Show Display Form:
If the check box is selected, a form displaying cursor station can be showed when you drag the staff.

8."Default" Button
Click "Default" Button can make clever ruler show with default color.

9."OK" Button
Click "OK" Button to apply your modification.

10."Cancel" Button
Click "Cancel" Button to cancel your modification.

Custom Unit Page

Custom Unit page allow you to define the custom unit.
1.Unit Size(Pixels Per Unit)
This indicates how many pixels there are per unit of measurement. The higher the number, the larger each unit gets. For example: if you specify 96 pixels per unit then you get the inches measurement.

2.Ticks per Unit
Specifies how many tick marks to display per unit. For example: if you specify 96 for Unit Size and you want to display 16 tick marks per unit then enter 16 as a value.

3.Display Unit Every
Specifies how frequent Clever Ruler displays the unit value. For example: if you specify 96 for Unit Size and 16 ticks per unit (above example) and you want to display the unit every 1 inch increment then enter 1 as a value.

4."OK" Button
Click "OK" Button to apply your modification.

5."Cancel" Button
Click "Cancel" Button to cancel your modification.

Preview
Every time you make a change to one of the settings you can preview the change by the preview ruler.

Hot Key Page

Hot Key page allow you to define the hot key for menu items. If you want to define hot key, press key on the edit box.

1.Hide/Show
Define hot key for "hide" or "show" menu item. (It is a system hot key)

2.Always On Top
Define hot key for "Always On Top" menu item.

3.Transparent
Define hot key for "Transparent" menu item.

4.Rotate
Define hot key for "Rotate" menu item.

5.Horizontal
Define hot key for "Horizontal" menu item.

6.Vertical
Define hot key for "Vertical" menu item.

7.Show Scale Line
Define hot key for "Show scale line" menu item.

8.Show ToolBar
Define hot key for "Show ToolBar" menu item.

8.Calculator
Define hot key for "Calculator" menu item.

9."OK" Button
Click "OK" Button to apply your modification.

10."Cancel" Button
Click "Cancel" Button to cancel your modification.
